PR! 5:09

i set a Personal Record today!

5 Hours and 9 Minutes.

My goal was to run under 5 but it wasn't my day. I went out and had a great pace for most of the race.

I was on track until about mile 21 to finish under 5 but those last stinking 5.2 miles got me! My good friend Lisa TOTALLY got me ... I was so finished and in SUCH a bad mood when she found me at mile 22 ... she had a great attitude and keep me running all the way to the finish line!

at mile 22 (hating life) with my mom and sister

Shirt with names of the people I ran for

after the race. i felt as tired as i look!

NOW we are preparing for Seattle June 27th!

Wed: OFF

I, of course, do not feel ready or that i've done enough to prepare. This week is the mental battle ... to believe i've done enough, that i can do this, that i am READY!

anger. grief. sadness. tears.

this nightline report left me in tears ... angry, sad and full of grief. and hard to find any bit of solace in believing God will bring justice to these evil, evil men. 'pastors' claiming to be following the holy spirit by abusing, torturing and breaking little children.

Boston

The day after the race I'll be heading to Chicopee for work and luckily get to spend the weekend in BOSTON!

I'm looking forward to walking the freedom trails, hopefully seeing a Sox game, hanging out with Betty Ann, grabbing a drink with Heidi and riding the T.

I am going to pray I'll be able to walk. After the last marathon, I spent the day after at the SPA, not on an airplane!
